Biography:
Dr. Michele Durr grew up on a family farm near Burr Oak, Kansas. She is a true Husker as she did her undergraduate schooling at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and graduated with High Distinction in 1998. She then attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine and obtained her Medical Degree in 2002. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Wesley Family Medicine Residency Program in Wichita, Kansas, in 2005. While in residency, she was chosen as Chief Resident. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She enjoys the entire spectrum of family medicine and has a special interest in women’s health, preventative health, pediatrics, and diabetes. She also has a special interest in performing colonoscopies and EGD’s. Dr. Durr is a true outdoorsperson. Dr. Durr and her husband, David, love watching Nebraska sporting events, especially Nebraska football. They both love to hunt, trap shoot, fish, and enjoy bowling. Dr. Durr also loves to grow roses. They enjoy helping out Dr. Durr’s dad on the family farm in Kansas, too.
