Wellness Wednesday


Webster County Community Hospital offers Wellness Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. All year long! No appointment is necessary and no physician's orders are required, but you can download the form in advance.

Please Note: These discounted tests cannot be billed through health insurance.

Additionally, we ask that you fast for 10 hours before your visit. You may drink water and take your medications as usual.

Discounted tests include:


Pricing effective Aug. 1, 2025

Complete Blood Count (CBC) - $30
Checks for anemia, infection or potential leukemia.

Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) - $30
Checks for diabetes, liver function, kidney function and electrolyte balance among other things.

Lipid Panel - $30
Checks your cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Hemoglobin A1c - $30
Measures your average blood sugar levels for the past two to three months.

Vitamin D - $30
Vitamin D plays an important role in growth and health of bones and teeth. Low levels can lead to a drop in calcium causing symptoms of weakness, frequent infections, fatigue, aching and pain."

Total Testosterone - $30
Total Testosterone evaluates excess or deficiency related to gonadal functions, adrenal functions and tumor activity. The level may be helpful in men for diagnosis of hypogonadism, hypopituitarism, klinefelter syndrome, and impotence.

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) - $30
High or low levels can indicate hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.

Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) - $30
High levels can indicate prostate cancer in men.

NOTE: CRITICAL RESULTS THAT NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE WEBSTER COUNTY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL MEDICAL DIRECTOR. OTHERWISE, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PATIENT TO GIVE THIS INFORMATION TO HIS/HER PROVIDER.
